T3 Code 0.1.3 brings the stable app up to its nightly release, with guest thread sharing, a redesigned interface and broader file previews. Theo Browne says opening a thread now loads 85% less data and cold connections send up to 93% less. Those are the developer’s measurements, not our independent speed test—and less data is not automatically the same percentage less waiting. Previews now cover office files, Mermaid diagrams, SQLite databases and PDF annotations. His announcement starts by calling this a small release, then works through a shopping list and roughly 480 other merged changes. You know when somebody says they packed light and arrives towing a wardrobe? That is this version number. At least the luggage apparently uses less bandwidth.
