FreeVideo Wants Your GPU, Not Another Subscription
AI video usually arrives with a credit meter. FreeVideo is trying a different pitch: use the graphics card you already own.
The team says its local engine can run MiniMax H3 with as little as eight gigabytes of video memory and sixteen gigabytes of system memory. It uses Video DeltaNet and shifts work across graphics memory, ordinary memory and disk.
That is a minimum-hardware claim, not a promise of instant cinema. We have not tested the speed. The code is open, while model weights have separate restrictions.
Still, cheaper experimentation on your own machine is a useful kind of disruption.
