Tibo Says Sorry After OpenAI’s Reset Misses Its Cue
OpenAI can build an AI coding assistant. Getting a usage reset to arrive on cue appears to be a separate engineering project.
Thibault Sottiaux, known as Tibo, apologised after a reset did not propagate precisely at the announced time. He was replying to a user complaining about the reset and their remaining allowance, and promised better planning next time.
The exchange followed a promised reset for paid ChatGPT users around the GPT-6.1 Sol rollout.
One complaint does not establish how many accounts were affected. But the practical point survives: when people plan work around a quota, the clock becomes part of the product.
