Zuck Wants Muse Behind the Shop Counter

Zuck's assistant has found another job application: running the back office of a small business.

Meta has introduced Muse for Small Business, adding connections to tools such as Shopify, QuickBooks, Canva and Stripe, alongside Facebook and Instagram business accounts. Its examples include reviewing expenses, drafting campaigns and finding emails that need an answer.

Meta says publishing, sending and spending still require the owner's approval. That matters when the assistant can reach both the marketing plan and the money.

The opportunity is obvious: busy owners already live inside these tools. The test will be whether Muse removes work, or creates another employee who needs checking.
